Sent with the Book and the Sword

In the Name of Allah, Most Merciful, Most Gracious

Yes, there is no solution, except with Tawheed [monotheism] and Hadeed [iron]. So Islam, o worshippers of Allah is a Book that leads and a sword that sharp is. Like the Lord of the Worshippers said:

لَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا رُسُلَنَا بِالْبَيِّنَاتِ وَأَنزَلْنَا مَعَهُمُ الْكِتَابَ وَالْمِيزَانَ لِيَقُومَ النَّاسُ بِالْقِسْطِ

“We have already sent Our messengers with clear evidences and sent down with them the Scripture and the balance that the people may maintain (their affairs) in justice.” [Surat al-Hadid 57: 25]

And that’s not all. (Sheikh continues with verse:)

وَأَنزَلْنَا الْحَدِيدَ فِيهِ بَأْسٌ شَدِيدٌ

“And We sent down iron, wherein is great military might.” [Surat al-Hadid 57: 25]

Like there is in the Qur’an a Chapter with the name al-Qalam [pen], there is a Chapter in the Qur’an with the name al-Hadid [Iron] as well. So this is the strong Manhadj [methodology], and the Siraat al-Mustaqim (straight path) that was walked on by the noble prophet may peace and blessings be upon him.

And it is described in the previous Books, like the Torah and Bible, like it is mentioned by Imam ibn Rajab al-Hanbali may Allah have mercy on him: “He is sent with in his hand an educating iron stick.” [Iron stick] in this means the sword.

And like it is mentioned by Sheikh ul Islam ibn Taymiyyah, imam ibn al-Qayyim and adh-Dhahabi, that in the Thorah the name of the prophet may peace and blessings be upon him is: ‘Ad-Dhahuk al-Qattaal” (The Smiling Killer).

And it is narrated, but I couldn’t find a chain of narration, from the prophet may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him that he said: “I am the smiling Killer.” Ibn Kathir said: “This means that he smiles with his allies, and kills his enemies.”

And al-Qattaal (in Arabic) means; something that indicates that there is a lot of slain.

The prophet may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon, like you all know, there is a Chapter with the name of al-Qitaal [fighting], and this Chapter is, Surat Muhammad may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him.

So al-Qitaal (fighting) goes hand in hand with the name of the prophet may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him and it can not be separated [from each other].

That’s why Imam Ahmad has narrated, and this was declared Hassan [good] by al-Haafidh al-’Iraaqi, and Sheikh ul Islam ibn Taymiyyah declared it correct, and the scholars; Ahmad Shaakir and Sheikh al-Albaani declared it Sahih. Narrated ‘Abdullah ibn ‘Umar, may Allah be pleased with them, that the messenger of Allah may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him said: “I was sent before the Hour.” What did he say, with what was he peace be upon him sent down? Did he say: “With peace?” Did he say: “With the wings of a pigeon?”

The prophet peace be upon him said: “I was sent before the Hour with the Sword!” In an other phrase he said: “I was sent with the sword between the Hour.” Why was that? “Until Allah Alone is worshipped!”

So the main target is: Tawheed [monotheism] and the path [towards it] is: The Iron [swords].

The prophet may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him said in a Hadith that was also narrated by Imam Ahmad, he said: “I am the prophet of Mercy” that was not all, because a lot of people, and a lot of callers to Islam stop right here when mentioning this hadith. While the prophet may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him said: “I am the prophet of Mercy and the prophet of the Battlefield/War.” And in an other narration: “And the prophet of the Battlefields.”

So the Path is; Mercifulness and Battlefields have to come together.
